ABSENCES & MAKE-UP LESSONS
-
Every student's lesson is a reserved appointment. Therefore, there are no refunds, reductions, or credits for missed lessons.
-
Notice must be given AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the lesson to qualify for a make-up lesson.
-
If a scheduled make-up lesson is missed, it will not be rescheduled.
-
Any lesson time missed due to tardiness will not be made up.
-
Students who take off an entire month or longer for an extended vacation still must pay tuition for those months if they want to reserve the lesson time upon their return. Make-up lessons will be scheduled for these missed lessons.
ATTENDANCES & DAILY PRACTICE
-
It is important for students to bring all required materials to the lesson and to be on time. For best progress and results, students are required to attend lessons faithfully and to practice daily. The length of practice time will be recommended to each student according to his/her level.
OPPORTUNITIES
-
WMS provides students with an exciting environment for their learning experiences. School's monthly workshops, recitals and also evaluation tests, auditions, and competitions organized annually by the National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT), the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC), and other musical organizations in Southern California help motivate and advance our students’ piano studies.
DROP OFF & PICK UP
-
After dropping off their children, parents are responsible for ensuring that they are in the school before leaving.
-
We request parents to pick up their children on time and to remind them to remain in the building until their pick up.
-
WMS will not be held responsible for any events that may occur if a student if left alone at the facility before or after their lesson time.
WITHDRAWALS
-
As a courtesy, students are requested to notify the school at least two weeks in advance when planning to withdraw from the lesson. No refund or credits are given for the remained lessons.
-
Students who have been absent for 3 consecutive weeks without notice will be considered to have quit.
-
Students may be dismissed for non-payment, excessive absences, lack of progress, or unacceptable behavior.
